oh, maybe my bad english plays a role, but:

How many charges would have the demolition crew install on the perimeter?

How would they synchronize the charges with the impact?

How would they make sure that all of them go of (or majority of them) at the needed time?

Why would be the core column operation insufficient?

The core only scenario has the benefit of I column "armor" and a small amount of (dozen+/-?) charges

Anyway, the exterior collapse started exactly in place where the hanging floor 83 was connected to the exterior.
Fight the dark forces of moron!

Another place to look is just around the NE corner on the north and just around the SE corner on the south.

Cutting a wedge. Just like chopping down a tree.

Notice how nicely this fits with the way NIST incorrectly states the angle of the initial impact.

They needed to justify the NE corner damage and couldn't do it with the proper angle.

But you and Achimspok caught them. You guys are smoooooth.

This extended view may clarify the behaviour further:

There was a small heavy piece from the south face that fell much faster than all other objects.

It was recently "discovered" and made famous by David Chandler for it's "rocket" properties.

It is useful for us because it helps give us a practical sense of what "freefall speed" actually means.

The link below records the trajectory of the piece.

The people who have followed this thread probably already know what David Chandlers first "rocket propelled" object was coming from the east face.

That "rocket" was actually two objects, one kicking the other out and creating the illusion of a single object changing directions.

We can see "half" of this "rocket" at the link below, the other "half" being the object behind this one pushing it outwards.
